Jacobi Pierce Malone, Attorney at Law
Right after high school, Jacobi Malone was adamant that he was never going to attend college. Twelve years later, he not only graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with honors, but has also graduated from the William H. Bowen School of Law. Now, Mr. Malone is a Partner in the law firm of Proctor and Malone. Jacobi thanks his mother, Emma Malone, a 1984 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, for also making it possible for him to complete college and law school.
“My mom has been my biggest blessing throughout all of this. She’s driven me to my classes at UA Little Rock and Bowen. She’s been there every step of the way.”
At the end of his law school journey, Malone cited faith and hard work as the keys to his success. “I would encourage anyone that comes from a background growing up in southwest Little Rock that doesn’t have a lot of avenues of success to not let that stop you. Don’t use that as an excuse. Use it as a stepping stone to go to the next level. Keep God first and continue to work hard, and you will be pretty well off.”
Mr. Malone is licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas. He is also licensed before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Arkansas. Mr. Malone is a Member of the W. Harold Flowers Law Society and the Arkansas Bar Association.
